Minnesota is Smoke-Free!

On October 1, 2007 Minnesota was the 20th state to address secondhand smoke's health consequences on workers by making all workplaces including restaurants, bars and private-clubs, smoke-free.

The Partnership for a Smoke-Free Scott County is excited to be supporting implementation of the law in Scott and Carver Counties.  Over the coming months, we'll be working hard to let everyone know about the new smoke-free law, "Freedom to Breathe" and the dangers of secondhand smoke - but we can't do it alone.  Join our coalition, attend an event or write a letter to the editor supporting Freedom to Breathe.
